Friday sucked, shitty gig shitty night so we'll fast forward to Saturday.

Me, Lester B, Happy Joyles, and Chris, went to the Bluesapalooza. Went and saw this dude Nathan James play some acoustic blues, he used to play guitar for James Harmen. J, and Tony, and their women friends showed up. We went to get food and didn't get any and then went to the beer garden (not to get beer though). I was drinking a Foster's and we watched some crappy cover band called the Federales. They played "Animal House's" greatest hits basically. They tried to do Stevie Ray's version of the Sky is Crying, "tried" being the keyword. People were eating their shit up too. "Oh I know that song". There was some sort of hot rod fest going on too. We went and watched Nick Curran who was really good. The I went up stairs and watched RJ Mischo, while others ventured to watch others. Some big Mexican dude got real excited and put his arm around me and gave me a big bear hug then said something in spanish. So I said Odalay! Which is fine but I hope his girlfriend doesn't get jealous. I discussed harp stuff a bit with RJ, he's a friendly dude. Chris got pretty tore up and forgot how to walk, so I showed her how to again. Some fat-ass tried to sell us beads. We went and watched the T-birds and shook the boogie for a bit. Everybody left except me, Joyless and Les. We got some TB, and went back to our hotel room. They were showing porn on the TV and later on gay porn. That was pretty much it. Went to breakfast at champaign brunch on Sunday.

Now it's Friday and I think I'm going to get a beer after work. Maybe I'll stop by the Knight on the way home. Maybe today will be a good old drink and puke at the Helm. Happy Holidays, and don't eat any anthrax.
