Figure it was time to put something new up. This from about two weeks ago.

Sunday Vicious Vern calls me up at 8:20 in the morning and asks me if I want to go to the Little Knight for breakfast. Course I'm barely out of bed and the Knight doesn't open for over and hour and a half. Eventually we hook up and go over there. I have a couple pineapple bombers and some breakfast, Vern has one bloody mary and can barely stomach it. He tastes my bomber and says I should've gotten one of those. We decide to head up to Mother's. Karen's working we have a couple beers. I was drinking Sammy's because the Anchor Steam keg was drained. Some biker dude that I met the last time we played comes in. He says they're playing today, they're basically a blues cover band. We meet a couple girls and visit with them for a while. Mike Malone the singer/harp player/keyboardist invites me to sit in with his band. I play Blues with A Feeling, the band doesn't really know the changes and kinda fucks up but the crowd digs it anyway. Later on play some harp on another tune with him. We decide to go down to Turk's and the two girls go to. Vern says they're lesbians, but the one seems to dig me. Then she starts talking about her ex-husband. Maybe she plays for both teams but she ain't a lesbian. Vern says her friend gets all jealous cause I'm talking to this girl. She nice but talks too damn much. I knock over to glasses and break them and Susan the bartender gets pissed, whoops! We head back towards home. Go to this place called players. Vern says his friend kicks down beer. We order a pitcher and then she says we gotta pay for it. So I get stuck with a fucken $14 pitcher. I take him home come back to Player's to try to finish my beer but can't, what a waste. I go to Lester B's and Happy Joyless. I get to meet Chatty Kathy and she is chatty. I start winding down, visit with Drunkenmeister and realize it's time to go. Felt great at work the next day but hey it was at least an interesting adventure.
